116 Students appeared for the Higher Secondary Examination in March 2009 and all the students passed out thus achieving 100 % result..
27 students have scored above 1100. 33 have scored more than 1000. 109 students have scored first class marks (above 720/1200).
9 have scored centum in Maths which is the second highest number so far in our school. There is a steep increase in the average marks thus we have produced a better quality result than last year.
N.Sreenivas stands first in the School with 1167 / 1200 marks.
S.Sivakumar and Bala Praveen Raju both stand second in the
School by scoring 1160 out 1200 marks.
D.Sairam scoring 1155 out of 1200 marks stands Third.
Among girls G.BHUVANA stands First by scoring 1153 out of
1200 marks. She stands IV in the school.
Three students have got medical seats in Govt. Medical Colleges.

K.Vivekanandan - Stanley Medical College, Chennai.
One more student B.Deephika has got admission in Govt. Veterinary
College, Namakkal.
4 students have got admission in Anna University Campus, Chennai and 15 others have got admission in other Anna University campuses, Govt. and aided Engineering Colleges.
S.Harish Gowtham has got admission in Sriram College of Commerce, a prestigious institution in New Delhi and this is the third time we have sent our students successively to that college. |

P.Suguna with 483/500 stands Second in the District and the first
in the School.
T.Sundhareswari with 477/500 stands second in the school and
fourth in the district.
J.S.Dheepthi with 474/500 stands third in the school.
154 students appeared for the Matric. Exam in March 2009. 152 students have passed. 11 students scored above 470. Twenty five students scored more than 450.
146 students have scored first class. We have got 99 % result.
4 students have got centum in Science. This is the rare distinction achieved by our school in Karur District. 2 students have got centum in Maths.

| NON ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS:

The ‘Combined Annual Training Camp’ was held in our school from 26th September to 05th October 2008. The cadets Cpl. N.Chandru and Cpl. B.Shanmugapriya have been adjudged as Best cadets.

Our student S.D.Jayaraj Prasanna of Std.XII represented Tamil Nadu team in under-19 category and L.K.Sai Akshay represented Tamil Nadu team in under-14 category in the national level SGFI Tennis. A revelatory information is S.D.Jayaraj Prasanna has got admission under sports quota in Crescent Engineering College with 100% fee waiver.
S.D.Saranya won Gold medal in the State Level Rifle shooting competition held in Chennai on 22/09/2008 thanks to the TNPL Rifle Club.
P. Prasob of Std XII got the first place in 10 km Marathon in the District level and he was selected for the state level Marathon. He also got Third place in the 4 x 400 mts. Relay in the State level.
In Ball Badminton game, our students D.Kaveen and G.R.Karthikeyan participated in the National level match in Haryana and they bagged the Third place
In Boxing, our students K.Pradeepa got silver medal in the State level competition held at Nagar kovil. D.Kaveen, A.Kruthiga and B.Shanmugapriya got bronze medals in the competition.

Indian Institute of Metals (IIM) and National Institute of Technology(NIT) conducted quiz competition in October 2008 , our student K.N.Harish bagged the third prize in it.

Sixteenth National Childrens’ Science Congress organized by the Students Tamil Nadu Science forum conducted competition on Science project and our project on “Negative effect of mono cropping” was selected as the best project’ out of 504 projects at the district level and it was exhibited in the state level competition held at National Islam University, Thuckalay.

A team of 27 students participated in various competitions and came out as overall Third in Talent-Expo-2009 in which 50 schools competed across the State.

Our school student D.Tanuja has got First Place in the drawing competition conducted by Govt. Museum, Karur.

C.Amrin Banu and S.Ashwini of Std.XII received cash awards of Rs.1000 and Rs.500 for their skill exhibited in elocution and essay writing competition conducted by ‘TAMIL VALARCHI THURAI.’ on 17/10/2008 at Karur.

R. Anitha of VII-Std won the consolation prize of Rs.1000/- in the State Level Essay competition in Tamil conducted by Reserve Bank of India, Chennai.

S.Arumugavelan had secured First Rank in Karur District in the National Scholarship Test conducted in Feb.2009 by T.I.M.E. Institute, Trichy.

Our students R.Karthick, M.Boopalan and J.Abbasun Naufil bagged First place in the State Level Science Exhibition held at Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai on 12/08/2008.
